Step 1:
In Google Drive, click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the page and select Settings > Convert uploads.
Step 2:
Click the New button on the left of the page and select File upload, then navigate to your Excel file.
Step 3:
To start working with teammates in real time, open the file and click the Share button in the top-right corner, then invite as many people as you want to view, comment or edit.

How to Wrap Text in New Google Sheets

One of the first things I noticed (and found annoying) when switching to the “New Google Spreadsheets” was the fact that my cells were spilling into adjacent cells rather than wrapping with-in the existing cell.   Word-wrap is turned off by default in New Google Sheets

It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but once I did,  it is a super easy fix.  If you do not want your cells to word-wrap in Google Sheets, simply highlight all of the cells that you do not want to wrap, and click the “wrap-text” icon.  You can toggle word-wrap off and on by highlighting cells clicking the “wrap text” “word-wrap” icon (see below.)
